Today I've eating nothing but completely raw food - I feel super great! I'm surprisingly really energized and not as lethargic as I've been feeling the past week. I'll definitely be putting up some new recipes soon.
Meanwhile, here's some raw foods I've had out at a few restaurants in Melbourne.

Prospect 360 fashion media seminar
Last night I signed up for a seminar at the well-known Whitehouse institute of design - where there was a panel of 5 much respected women in the corporate fashion world. I sign up to these things primarily for motivation in what I most love to do and for my passion with design and fashion and it definitely motivated and inspired me to go further and keep persisting. On the panel was the Melbourne fashion blogger Phoebe Montague from the blog 'Lady Melbourne', Kate Gaskin who was a freelance stylist, Kim Wilson who was a fashion journalist for the daily age and Sarah Gale who was a publicist at AMPR public relations company. Each person told their stories which was great to hear from people of all walks of life because it reassured me that not everything comes so easy at all and what you think you may be doing in 10 years is most likely completely different to what you will actually be persuing or working as. I recommend anyone who aspires to be in a certain fashion, art, design or media profession to attent one of Prospect 360's seminars because it is highly valuable.

Tweed-tweed
Black and white Chanel inspired tweet jacket I bought from top shop near the begining of the year.
Sorry I've been so slack with my updates lately, I've just been focusing on school and haven't found the time between school, study, work and a social life.
This afternoon I got my hair cut, like, all of it! Probably close to 6 inches at least is gone off the ends. It's up to my shoulders now and it's looking a thousand times healthier. I'm looking forward to it growing a couple more inches because it's shorter than what I asked for (as we all know that's what hairdressers do) This weekends a pretty social one for me so I should surely have some new exciting posts up!

Formalities
So last Saturday night I had my year 11 formal. Had a great night and everyone looked absolutely stunning. Ever since year 7 I had been wanting a purple silky dress and I'm surprised that my dream actually stuck! I bought this backless gown from Carla Zampatti - God of all things formal.

Just an update
Hello! So this is just a random check it. Today I took the day of school and did a day's work experience and a bridal magazine photo shoot. It was such a great experience and I've learnt to appreciate editorials and spreads a whole lot more from my previous behind-the-scenes experiences. When eye meets the photo you don't acknowledge how much effort, dedication and hard work really goes into just 1 picture... lots! Seeing the whole process and development of a fashion shoot from start to finish opens up my mind. I've got some other excited work experience places that I'll be undergoing throughout the year which I'm excited to tell you guys about.
At the moment I'm just stressing over my VCE fashion garment which is beating out my brains, if all goes well and suave then I'll be uploading pictures of my final product. Now, I better get back to taking a few pics and writing up some production plans then I'm calling it a night. x
Also thought it would be nice to show my inspiration (Italia!) to get through school! Gonna need it...

Rumi for Myer
More photos to come from event, and pictures with her and I.
Today I was fortunate enough to have the chance of meeting and merely having 'dnm's with Rumi Neely. She is someone I undeniably look up to and have been for a few years now. I have gotten to see her blog Fashiontoast evolve and it has been an experience watching her personal style gradually change and go in a loop. She said some pretty meaningful things at the Myer interview today it the basement - words I will definitely go home with and remember regardless of whether she knew how much they'd have an effect on me. She gave some valuable advice like to never follow trends because your just cloning everyone else. Be unique and prove your sense of style and individuality to the world. I think that people are indenial most of the time about being 'themselves' when honestly I think they're having trouble coping to conform to the liking's of everybody else. Leaving today's appearance I feel more inspired about my blog.
For those who haven't met Rumi, she is undoubtedly the most down to earth person I have met. She's fun and knows how to be cheesy, if that kind of makes sense? My friends Rebekah, Darlin and I waited around anxiously for her to come back out after her initial appearance and got to have a third talk to her. It was stress free until an anxious big ass body guard booted her out of out convo. The conversation was more friendly and non restrained than 'corporate'. She unhesitantly partook in some selfies and agreed to coming back to Melbourne with Bryan (inward joyous moment). She then agreed to take a look at my blog so Rumi, if you are reading this HEY GIRL!
