Idyllic summer 'milkshake'

It's about 30 degrees today and no doubt we're all sitting outside with popsicles and such. My sister was in the kitchen whipping up some almond milk icy-poles. In the mixture there is simply just; almond milk, almond spread and vanilla essence - add all ingredients and cook on the stove then set in molds in the freezer. Could it get any more simpler?
But the best thing about this was with the leftovers, pour the liquid over vanilla ice-cream (in my case I used choc-chip vanilla/almond soy ice-cream) and it's like a better-for-you iced chocolate or milkshake! Delicious is an understatement.

Proenza Schouler SS 12

Proenza Schouler's Spring/Summer '12 collection is getting me excited and impatiently waiting for the collection to come out and influence other leading (possibly more affordable) brands so that we can all be clad in a little Proenza. What mostly impelled me to this collection was the miss-match and variance of colours and patterns clashing yet matching simultaneously. From my accordance twenty-twelve will be taken over by this matching-opposite-pattern trend but I'm totally fine with that.

PS: I'm dreading the thought of going to school in approx 9 days. Filtering through stationary, sorting books and getting my work up to date is sucking the life out of me! But the thought that we may possibly be going to Hawaii mid-year might just get me through...

Botanical flounce

Such a serene view from my families apartment during our short stay in Hobart, overlooking mountains filled with a cluster of cutesy houses set aside calm waters. I received my new Zimmerman bikinis not long ago back in Melbourne - for some reason it's much more fulfilling purchasing things online and receiving it '5-10 working days' at your front door wrapped nicely and sealed with a ribbon or some sort of pretty exterior. Most of my bathers have been towards the darker side of the spectrum of colours so I decided to oppose and go for something more feminine with frills, soft colours and floral graphics. I'm currently sorting through my Tasmanian photo album towards a documentation of my holiday there so it should be up in the coming week.

Fossil by Marc

Two of my favourite accessorie designers (Fossil and Marc Jacobs) designed this beauty of a watch and collaborated like they new I was asking for it. I was indecisive about the toy watches, they seemed like a decent type of chunky style although I got slightly turned off when I bought CLEO magazine one day and got a bonus watch which mimicked the original white toy watch and sadly, I could barely tell the difference. When I set my eyes on this watch without knowing it was by Marc it had my name all over it. I find this watch to be a lot more timeless and despite the fact that it is quite miniature - and not something that instantly catches the eye - it seems to be receiving innumerable compliments.
