Just an update

Hello! So this is just a random check it. Today I took the day of school and did a day's work experience and a bridal magazine photo shoot. It was such a great experience and I've learnt to appreciate editorials and spreads a whole lot more from my previous behind-the-scenes experiences. When eye meets the photo you don't acknowledge how much effort, dedication and hard work really goes into just 1 picture... lots! Seeing the whole process and development of a fashion shoot from start to finish opens up my mind. I've got some other excited work experience places that I'll be undergoing throughout the year which I'm excited to tell you guys about.
At the moment I'm just stressing over my VCE fashion garment which is beating out my brains, if all goes well and suave then I'll be uploading pictures of my final product. Now, I better get back to taking a few pics and writing up some production plans then I'm calling it a night. x

Also thought it would be nice to show my inspiration (Italia!) to get through school! Gonna need it...

A fraction of my artsy picture collection that is really inspiring me at the moment. You should all go search for artists on tumblr, there are some seriously talented ones I've encountered. Also, I'm genuinely sorry about the shortage of posts recently, I have some great ones coming up also I'm just stuck in school work and work at the moment but I have not forgotten about this! x

In the night

This month's Russh, vintage sparkly shirt, beaded stone and chain collar necklace.

My weeknights are flooded with homework and my weekends are busy doing errands and socialing which gives me no time at all for some Russh reading. This weekend I'm going to set aside an hour or two to sit down and read!
A couple of weeks ago whilst the Sass & Bide warehouse sale was going on, this vintage garage sale seemed to be outrunning them. Approaching the sale, crowds of people with all smiles on their faces were walking out the door with garbage bags stuffed to the brim with their cheap buys. I bought about 5 items for 20 dollars... one of which was this sparkly shirt.
One of my most memorable buys from my Canadian travels was this intricately handmade necklace. It wasn't cheap (at all) but it was worth it! The only thing I'm obsessively compulsive about is checking to see if any of the million chains have gotten tangled.

Behind the scenes at LMFF

A few of the pictures I took from LMFF last month that I just received and was anxiously waiting for. Yes, I got to photograph Rachel Rutt which was the highlight of the time in the makeup room. I was fortunate to capture a glimpse of what goes on behind the works for you which is more surprising and unexpected then you could ever imagine. Now whenever I look at a photo or watch a fashion show I have deep thoughts about what goes on behind the scenes, and it's all because of this experience.

Chained with rope

It's probably about time for me to put a halt to buying expensive necklaces but it's become an obsession. I've decided I need one in every shade to match my tops. On my can't-be-stuffed days where I'm forced to dress up, I pretty much wear what I do running errands and just add a little chest necklace and it's a job done well. I bought this beauty from  'The Tiny Dancer' boutique on Sydney Rd. Brunswick last Thursday.

Botanica SA

Over the Easter weekend my family and I drove 8 hours west of Melbourne  to Adelaide to see our cousins. We only ever get to see them a few times a year so it's great getting to see their substantial growth in height and overall changed each and every time. On Saturday we strolled among Japanese inspired gardens at the Adelaide Botanical Gardens. Photographing aspects of gardens is somewhere high on my favourite things to do list. I'm wearing my new t-shirt I got for $5 last week which I practically wore everyday whilst in Adelaide. No that's not gross.

Gold Dot

Woah! Take a look at these beasts! Couldn't wait for them to be shipped and all so I thought I'd just instantly show you some perspective type pictures of the shoes I just bought online. Gold Dot shoes are only new to me today, I've never seen such original, futuristic shoes. Check out their vast range of uniqueness on or their online store .
