Day core

Its merely impossible to settle down for one single theme to clad my new bedroom with, when I desire so many of this interiors. So I’ve come to the conclusion to make my room a magical concoction of a million and one different styles. Here’s a few photos I’ve collected over the past month as inspiration. I’m hoping to make some DIY pieces myself to make the room a slight more personal. It's going to be far from monotonous.

TOPSHOP Unique - AW 12/13

I am lost for words. I can't even describe how ridiculously excited I am for TOPSHOP A/W '12/13 to be on the racks. Hopefully Melbourne gets the exact same line - If not, very similar. The metallic and matte fabrics and flowy 'potato sack' dresses and cuts are beautiful. They have quite a lot of olive green and burnt orange throughout the whole collection. Originally I wouldn't have thought these colours would look as amazing as they do combined. I have a fetish for burnt orange yet I don't own anything in this colour unfortunately. The whole collection combined tells are story and has a consistent theme. You can virtually piece any of the items with each other. This is also a fresh new vibe to winter clothes, I'm seriously over grey.

MANIAMANIA!

Before the jewelry introduction, I must say that Maniamania's selection of 4 lookbooks with Abbey Lee Kershaw all over forced me to crush on this jewelry even more than I did. So edgy. Anyway, our first encounter was at Green With Envy through a solid glass wall protecting this utterly covetable line of rings, necklaces, earrings, cuffs blah blah blah. I don't remember how many days has past since although I've been longing for my birthday money cash flow ever since. Hopefully I'll be able to purchase atleast a piece or two from their collection next weekend. I love the mysticism and contrary clean lines that are used for all the pieces. If you like this then you'd probably like Frank Geary's Tiffany and Co.' collection. During my time in NY I had the chance to check it out on level 3, he has some amazing designs - some which look as though they're derived from an architectural aspect.  (By the way I failed to spell jewelry correctly every single time in the paragraph. THANK GOD for spell check!)

Hankering to have

It was unintentional for me to choose a selection of newbies - to add to my most recent (of many) wish lists - that all look like they could be part of one single collection, agree? I'm really gratified by digital printing on clothes now (not like it's that new). These shoes are getting me pumped (pardon the pun) for more corporate looks for my not-so-soon to come years. But I like the thought of them anyways. Furthermore... I'm 'Dion Lee' obsessed!

Abichi calf hair and leather bag - 3.1 Phillip Lim
Leather collar - Karl by Karl Lagerfeld
Clutch - Alexander McQueen
Silk tank - Dion Lee
 Black buckle sandals - Givenchy
White platform sandals - Jil Dander
Black/white contrast pumps - Karl by Karl Lagerfeld

Lego out loud

Admitingly there's about a million others out in the world with a weird obsession like me - loving all things in small sizes. I love when a real-life-sized object sells for a tenth of its size, or on the opposing matter when it comes 4 times larger. This iPod docking station flows both ways. It resembles a ginormous lego piece or a miniature speaker. This cutesy stall was in Melbourne Central a few weeks back showcasing what great things they have to offer. Such as these speakers for only $20! 'Jade - Quirky Gifts, is located in Brunswick and I suggested whilst your down there you must go to thee vintage stores a small boutiques along Sydney Rd. There's no other option.

Polar opposites

I am aware that these nail-polish textures aren't a 'new' thing but I am enthralled by these coatings. How is it even possible to do such a thing? I have so many aimless thoughts. Whenever I look at a digital imagine of these, deep into my thoughts I can guess exactly what it would feel like. The grease of the shine and the matte plaster texture of the black. The only problem I can envision myself going through is the toiling when having to master the perfect painted nail. I am totally ready to break away from my ordinary liquors and induce myself into these polishes.

Minimal essentials

These 6 products are my 6 minimal essentials in my bathroom right now. I've tried out many different products over the years and I have come to a new conclusion. I am slowly assimilating to more natural products after experiencing my worst complexion from 'Proactiv'. I must admit that it does the job but the chemicals don't do you any justice. You end up with a bleached face and your used-to-be-healthy skin becomes prone and addicted to the chemicals. You could almost say it's a drug for you skin. So I've made the change to 'Jurlique' for my cleansers, creams, masks and mist.
Balancing day care cream, purifying cleaner & rosewater balancing mist all from Jurlique. (Purchase Jurlique at any Jurlique stores, Myer, David Jones and now selling at certain pharmacies)
The other 3 of my favourite products in the first image is;
Moroccan hair oil - from selected hair salons
LANCOME tinted facial moisturizer with SPF 15+ ($60)
M.A.C pre make-up lubricant
these products do the job anyday. They leave your face feeling fresh and rejuvenated and your hair lush and softer than a baby's bottom. I use the Moroccan hair oil in damp hair after showers and sleep with it in over night and you wake up with a new set of hair. I use the Lancome tinted moisturizer daily to school and it has sun protection which will help prevent wrinkles and blemishes in years to come. And the MAC lubricant is amazing, it helps apply any make-up and doesn't leave your skin feeling stiff with layers of make-up.
